Theo Ruth was a young talented furniture designer. In 1936, the young designer joined Artifort and focused on living room furniture. Theo Ruth is responsible for the success of the Artifort brand around the world. During his career, Ruth designed the F815 chair, a design that was completely in keeping with the world of the 1960s. The F815 chairs are in good condition. The design is characterized by the round lines of the upholstered seat and the angled placement of the seat on the frame. The chairs are very comfortable. A hallmark of the designer. The striking frame in black coated metal together with the round shape and specific coloring of the chairs creates a beautiful graphic effect. The chairs were purchased in 1992 from Riant, understanding of good living in Utrecht. They were delivered in the color scheme red/ black ( Tonus 130/ Tonus 128 and black/ red (Tonus 128/ Tonus 130. The chairs were reupholstered in 2016 by Stoffeeratelier Arjen Haaima from Ede in a new color scheme beige and light gray from the Artifort fabric collection. This is a set of 2 chairs.
