Product description
This lamp was released in 1972 and designed by Richard Sapper. On display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Material is steel, painted matte black. Parts are still available. The lamp is iconic because of its minimalist design, which ensures that the lamp is fully balanced in any position. The fixture features a halogen bulb and a switch on the base with 2 positions so that the light can be dimmed as desired. This lamp has the original rod with red button on the shade. The lamps are in good condition with light signs of use.
A new halogen bulb must be purchased for one of the two bulbs. Also, the pin to hold the glass that holds the halogen bulb is missing.
