This beautiful set of designer armchair with armrests were designed and manufactured in the 1960s by the German firm Wilhelm Knoll.
The chairs consist of a teak frame with springs in the seat for high seating comfort. The seat and back consist of lossen cushion and are also sprung. The combination of simple design with straight and rounded shapes, warm wood and comfortable cushion are typical midcentury modern design.
The chairs are in good vintage condition with signs of use appropriate to their age, such as some dents and scratches in the wood. The upholstery is original, still bright in color and shows hardly any wear.
