Set of 2x ZEISS IKON ZI001 CHROME
Beautiful designer lamps from Zeiss Ikon in Chrome version. The lamp comes from the former ENCK building in Vlaardingen. This building was designed by architectural firm JWC Boks, W. Eijkelenboom and A. Middelhoek for ENCK-Delta Chemie in Vlaardingen. In contrast to the ZI001 Zeiss Ikon designer lamp, this lamp has been completely redesigned. The upper part of the lamp has been blasted and given three layers of powder coating to achieve a Chrome effect. The Zeiss Ikon ZI001 Bauhaus Lamp Chrome is a showpiece for any interior.
DESIGN LAMP WITH PAST
These lamps were once designed by modernist Adolf Meyer. Adolf Meyer was assistant to Peter Behrens and teacher at the Bauhaus Institute in Weimar. The mirror reflector is made entirely of glass. The outside has a light gray coating. The glass is finished with a silver coating. The metal holder has a new fitting (E27). This fitting is suitable for LED lamps. The Zeiss Ikon ZI001 Bauhaus lamps are supplied as standard with silver-colored textile (earthed) wiring.

The Zeiss Ikon lamp has been completely restored and redesigned by hand with respect for the original. The upper part of the fixture has been blasted and provided with no fewer than three layers of powder coat to achieve a beautiful chrome effect. The lamp was then further finished with new grounded textile wiring, in a beautiful silver color. The luminaire therefore fully complies with current standards. Heritage that fits perfectly with today's times. The glass shade is mirrored on the inside in combination with the outside finished in a matte light gray coating. A characteristic element of Zeiss Ikon production is the mirror reflector on the inside. This is able to amplify the intensity of the lamp.
