For our 1970s home, we were able to acquire these beautiful reclining chairs. They are in orange skai(?) leather and in very good condition. Except for a single spot, all seams are still excellent, the leather is not torn or otherwise damaged. Chairs swivel and stand on a very solid base. The seats are manually adjustable. The backrest can be lowered and independently, a footrest can also be raised. It really is a breeze to find a nice seat with these, even if you want to do an active chore by the way. Unfortunately, the health of one of our family members requires other furniture so we had to make the choice to part with these chairs as well.
The large round base on which the chairs stand is matte gray and are slightly spotted from use. It is not distracting but is the difference between condition "very good" or "excellent"
