Pruzskow, poland circa 1960. Pair of brown enameled porcelain covered pots by the Polish manufacturer pruszków, work circa 1960. Modern geometric decoration on the body, side handles for the larger one, and round lid. In very good condition, with a microchip on the largest model. Dimensions large pot: 13 X 22 X 20 cm. Small pot: 8 X 10, 5 cm. Clean, fast and careful shipment. The pruszków earthenware factory was founded in 1872 by jakub teichfeld and ludwik asterblum, owners of an earthenware label in koło. It produced earthenware dishes and majolica products. The earthenware was decorated with the stamping technique, the predominant ornaments being in the shape of flowers, fruit and leaves. During the twentieth anniversary years between the wars, the factory's product range was extended to include ceramics. Production of stove tiles was launched. After the war, the company was nationalized. It took the name zakłady fajansu de pruszków. In the mid-50s, operations were modernized. These changes concerned in particular the launch of production using a new material: porcelain. The factory receives the following name: zakłady porcelitu stołowego "pruszków". The design center was founded in 1958. Its main task was the preparation of designs for future realizations. One of the first designs was the "primo" coffee set designed by gabriela śleżewska in the early 1960s, the models were developed in the factories of the Industrial Design Institute. Pruszków specializes in tableware products.
