Product description
2 Dai Nippon dishes with green dragon from early 19th century. Dai Nippon stands for great Japan and is from the time of 1890 to 1920. Dishes can be used as wall plates because of the attachment made to them. The plates are made of porcelain. One of the plates has been used for cup and saucer and has light wear on the inside. You can see this in the picture, the color is slightly faded where the cup has been at the rim. For the Japanese, however, the dragon in general represents protection, courage and wisdom. Dimensions: 13x1cm (WxH) No. B442
