"1D-Wxyz-8" is the eighth dollar painted by Wxyz. This dollar is held by two magnetized blocks of Plexiglas, blocks measuring 15 x 20 cm. They contain a holographic signature in the lower right corner of the banknote. The artwork is signed with the artist's stamp on the back and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Born in Paris in 1980, Wxyz grew up and continues to work in eastern Paris. He owes his artistic awakening to the observation, from an early age, of wall writings. Since 1996, he has painted many walls, mainly in the Paris area. Since then, he enjoys transforming letters and finding new ways to draw Wxyz with "all the colors of the alphabet," as he likes to say to children. In his work, the letter is more than a pseudonym, it serves as a pretext for the exploration of colors and shapes, as a skeleton for abstraction. Wxyz participated in numerous collective exhibitions and had 2 solo exhibitions in Paris in 2015 and 2020. His last group exhibition took place in September 2020 at Ground Effect at the invitation of the VAO collective."
