A very attractive and magnificent desk from France circa 1870s. Made of pine and beech. The top is beautifully covered with leather, this is inlaid with gold leaf edge. Really beautifully done. In the meantime after all these years it has acquired a beautiful atmosphere through wear and tear. The leather is not broken but you can see very nicely where the work was done. The legs are lacquered whose lacquer has cracked over time. The 2 drawers have brass fittings. Width: 1.07 m. Depth: 55 cm. Height: 79 cm. Height under the rule: 64 cm.
