Product description
A rare piece of Super cool silver work.
This silver, enameled box with blue-gray-white colors are worth the gems of collecting.
Everything is AF or well super made .
The box was made around 1890 in a Russian Hungarian country,
presumably the silversmith learned his trade from Fabergé 1846-1920.
Peter Carl Fabergé was born in St. Petersburg on May 30, 1846, the son of the jeweler Gustav Fabergé and his Danish wife, Charlotte Junstedt. The famous House of Fabergé had been opened by his father a few years earlier. After training in Dresden and Frankfurt, Peter Carl took over his father's workshop in 1870.
Court supplier to the tsar
Fabergé became court supplier to the Russian tsar. His commission included making the famous jewel-encrusted eggs. The tsar gifted these eggs to his wife. Peter Carl Fabergé made a total of fifty of these eggs named after him.
The quality of this box reminds us of that.
Unfortunately, we do not have enough information about it.
The silver box is:
8 cm long
5 cm wide
1 cm high
and weighs 100 grams
