Vintage wall decor picture of tropical landscape featuring palm trees, a sailing boat and the sun. The motif was handmade by assembling small cut pieces of straw and affixing it onto a black velvet matting. It was made in Germany, in a style that was very common in former DDR.
It has a wood frame and is sealed behind glass with airtight paper at the back. It has a hook and is ready to hang.
Very good vintage condition with minor signs of wear commensurate to the age of the piece. Please note that some dust (possible from the straw) is visible under the glass but it doesn't deter from the beauty of the piece.
