This rare Silver goblet with lid in the shape of a pineapple.
The base is round and has driven motifs and an openwork shaft.
The lid is shaped like pineapple leaves, at the bottom a standing female figure.
The cup has several marks, including: on the rim of the cup and on the lid.
The labels come from the 18ë Nuremberg
hallmark 1742
and France.
At that time, the Pineapple Goblet was placed on the table with salt or spices. This was very expensive in those days and people liked to show that there was money for such things.
