He has also worked for major brands such as Air France, Citroën and Chanel. In 1973, he and his wife Marie-France founded a graphic design studio in Paris, specializing in book design and exhibition catalogs. Hugues Steiner is also known for his creations of furniture and design objects, often inspired by organic forms and nature. Hugues Steiner has received numerous awards for his work, including the Grand Prix National des Arts Graphiques in 1988 and the Médaille d'Or de l'Académie d'Architecture in 1999. His work can be found in numerous public and private collections, including the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
