Rossi is known for his conceptual, minimalist approach to design and architecture, which has influenced many contemporary designers and architects. He won several prestigious awards for his projects, including the Pritzker Prize in 1990, considered the highest honor in the field of architecture. Among his most famous works are the San Cataldo Cemetery in Modena, the Teatro del Mondo for the Venice Biennale, the Palazzo Lombardia in Milan and the Stock Exchange Tower in Bilbao, Spain. Rossi was also a prolific writer, publishing several books on architectural theory and design, including "The Architecture of the City", which became a classic of architectural literature. Rossi died in 1997 in a car accident near Milan, leaving behind him a lasting legacy in the world of architecture and design.
