Pedersen was known for his functional, minimalist approach to design, and his skilful use of wood, metal and leather. His creations were often characterized by clean lines, simple geometric shapes and impeccable finishes. Over the course of his career, Pedersen won several awards for his designs, including the Grand Prix at the Milan Triennale in 1957. His work is exhibited in museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
