Product description
A bright yellow spotlight called the "Unispot" created by Bent Gantzel-Boysen for the well known Danish lamp manufacturer Louis Poulsen. This is a version with an exceptionally long ceiling attachment (90 cm). This can of course be cut if preferred. The integral wall/ceiling mount unscrews to provide easy access to the lamp's electric terminals for wiring either directly into the mains or to an electric cable as required. This Louis Poulsen Unispot lamp exists in several colors and variations. This lamp series received an iF Design Award in 1972. The first Unispot was black, in 1972 white red and yellow were added to the line. Later followed up by the smaller version Lillebror. The Louis Poulsen Unispot lamp is described in detail in the excellent book Danish Lights – 1920 to Now. Good condition with only minor signs of use. Standard E27 lightbulb socket. The actual lamp is 21 cm long and has a diameter of 12 cm. The ceiling mount arm is 90 cm long. Bent Gantzel-Boysen was head of Louis Poulsen’s design team in the 1970s, who stood behind lamps like the 1972 IT series and the PH 80 table and floor lamps, drawn in 1974, to celebrate Poul Henningsen’s (1894 – 1968) 80th birthday.

minor signs of use as seen in the images.
