Rare Danish wall lamp from the mid 1960's
The lamp is the result of a collaboration between Holmegaard, Denmark, and Philips
Also sold under Nordisk Solar, Denmark
Model: NX 161
The lamp is made from a teak "rod" wall fixture and the glass tube is from Holmegaard Leerdam
Two metal wall flanges ensure that the lamp stays straight and solid on the wall.
The yellow opal glass tube is different for the period, but original, and gives the lamp a stronger character and provides a colorful cone of light in any Scandinavian interior
