€1650/piece: VITRA PLYWOOD GROUP LCW LIMITED 75th ANNIVERSARY EDITION CHAIR Ray & Charles Eames Multiplex LCW is the result of extensive research by Ray and Charles Eames to create an extraordinary three-dimensional model that perfectly conforms to the contours of the human body. In 1945, at the end of World War II, the designer couple invented new procedures for three-dimensionally modeling laminated wood. The Plywood Group LCW 75th anniversary edition is made with a back and seat of molded plywood with a black-pigmented walnut veneer. The base is molded plywood in black ash. The seat and back are attached to the base with shock absorbers (glued rubber and metal connectors).
