Product description
Vintage, round, Scandinavian-modern style dining table from the 1960's.This beautiful table is made of wood with a rosewood veneer and lacquer finish on the top, tapered legs, and a 48.5 cm butterfly extension, allowing it to change from a round shape and unopened 120 cm, to a 168.50 cm oval shape, to comfortably seat between 4 and 6 people (please see photos for the variations.)To open and extend the table, simply unlock the 2 hooks under the table top, slide gently to open and slowly unfold the butterfly extension, then gently guide each end towards the leaf, until it is firmly in place. Then lock the table top with the four hooks (two under the table top and two under the extension). The table is in very good original and vintage condition, with some light signs of use, marks and signs of age commensurate with time, as well as a patina of age, on the table top, edge, leaf extension and legs. (Please refer to the close-up photos where we have placed a penny, for perspective.)The legs of this table are removable if one needs to move it from one room to another. All photos are taken in natural light, so colors may vary slightly depending on the light, angles and perspective in which they are viewed.
