This beautiful Italian Borgonovo glass vase from the 1950s is decorated with a pattern of leaves and white-ripened roses. The vase is made of transparent glass and has a heavy quality.
The words "Borgonovo" and "Italy" are embossed on the vase. Vetreria di Borgonovo (Borgonovo Glassworks) was founded in 1950 in Borgonovo Val Tidone, near Milan in Italy, where the company still produces glassware today. This appears to be one of their earlier designs from the 1950s to 1960s.
