Mantelpiece composed of an important clock accompanied by two cassolettes in pink and sea green marble.This octagonal clock composed of pink and green veined marble is provided with a dial of the same shape in chromed metal appearing in relief and bearing the mark "Vallage Nantes".The mechanism provided with its pendulum and its key is in perfect working condition.The whole is supported by the wings of two Sphinges in patinated bronze. Each one rests on a rectangle of veined pink marble, supported by a large octagonal base composed of two brightly colored marbles, whose corner is embellished with a bronze rosary.This large clock resting on eight feet in bronze is surrounded by two voids of the same taste.The combination of marble and bronze, its large size and its ornamentation make this mantel set a unique work of art full of elegance and presence.
