Special lamp made by the designer duo Humberto and Fernando Campana from Brazil. Candle Plastic Table Lamp Campana Brothers, produced by Fontana Arte 2000 T. Lamp has been out of production for years. Structure of the lamp is gray metal and the shade, consists of separate white tubes. H 56 x W 40 x D 29 cm Can be placed on the table, but large enough to put on the floor, 4 light points. Also exists in a bamboo version. The plastic wicker can be woven through the pattern in various ways. Can also be tight, see last photo. Lots of info to be found about the makers and their work. 'The ideas for their unusual designs can probably be traced back to the political and social backgrounds of their native Brazil. Campana's materials used came partly from the West High-tech laboratory and partly from the slums of São Paulo. The individual elements of their furniture and objects seem not industrially fixed, but by an artist's hand, spontaneous and casual. The viewer will initially look exasperated, for Campana's works recall instability through simultaneous liveliness."
