Rare double-sided desk designed by Svend Aage Madsen for Sigurd Hansen in the 1960s, Denmark. This vintage teak desk has a very stylish and sophisticated design with organic and rounded shapes. The top runs in a curve and has a nice raised edge on the back and sides.
The desk offers plenty of storage space, with six drawers in the front with nice handles and two compartments above them for paperwork, among other things. At the back is an open area that can serve as a bookshelf, and two flaps with a bar with mirror and two glass shelves behind it on the left and a compartment and two small drawers with compartments on the right.
A practical and stylish piece of top quality furniture! Genuine Danish craftsmanship. The desk is in good condition, with only a few minor signs of use.
