Scandinavian modern rattan lounge chair designed by Carl Öjerstam for Ikea. This design is made of a lightweight bamboo frame. The chair was in limited production at Ikea Sweden from 2001 to 2005 and won the Red Dot Award in 2002. The armchair offers great comfort and support due to the molded rattan and the presence of the headrest. This elegantly shaped chair is surprisingly comfortable, making it suitable for any mid-century Scandinavian modern or modern-inspired home. A real eye-catcher that can certainly also come into its own in an outdoor setting such as a balcony or covered terrace.
