Product description
The companies were founded in 1852 as Telegraphen Werkstatt near today's Main Station in Bydgoszcz. Their history is associated with the Royal Prussian Directorate of the Eastern Railway, and the companies' tasks included maintaining newly constructed telecommunications lines in Prussia. Operating under the name KZŁ since 1950, they experienced dynamic growth in the 1970s. It was then that the production of clocks began, one of which we present here.
The clock has a rectangular, minimalist dial in a solid wood frame. The wood has a natural tone, protected by a layer of lacquer. It has a wall-mounting system. The front is covered with thick glass. The clock is heavy and stately. It has an original secondary mechanism, so to function correctly, it must be connected to a so-called master clock. However, this mechanism can be adapted to work on a household network or batteries.
