An iconic model of the Roche Bobois collections, the Mah Jong sofa, designed by Hans Hopfer in 1971, offers total freedom of form and function. The elements can be stacked or placed side by side this makes many compositions possible. Each cushion is completely handmade and sewn in a special workshop. This original Mah Jong is upholstered in Kenzo fabrics and was purchased from Roche Bobois in September 2007. The proof of purchase is available. Our sofa consists of 2 corner pieces, 4 back pieces, 10 base cushions and 5 pillows. The entire sofa will need cleaning. On one floor cushion (gayanè coloris 02 lagon), a few buttons are a bit torn out and on this element, the side seam will also need to be checked. We have many spare buttons to give with this sofa. The sofa as a whole is a bit stained and discolored here and there. In a few places, the buttons need some firm anchoring again. I have a long needle for that that I can use through the cushion to anchor the buttons on both sides. The blue flowered ground cushion in particular has the most apply and deserves a good renovation. The back part of the yellow rib has a somewhat elongated stain. The dark grenadine color ground cushions were always at the bottom on a non-slip strip and these, for example, are still in very good condition.
