Product description
Radi Designers industrial tray for Air France -- rare!--In 1992, the Radi Designers collective (short for Recherche Autoproduction Design Industriel) was born, made up of five members, all graduates of Les Ateliers School: Laurent Massaloux, Olivier Sidet, Robert Stadler, Florence Doléac and Claudio Colucci. The collective plays with the gestures and typologies of everyday life. In the 1990s, Radi Designers worked on projects as diverse as object design and spatial design. They subverted the obviousness of everyday life through their object-furniture-furniture-cookie hybrids. As emblematic figures of the new French design movement, Radi Designers manipulate codes, uses, techniques and forms with unrelenting inventiveness. The Radi Designers group met at the National School of Industrial Design. Their individual and collective work has led them to respond to various commissions, freely proposing objects and scenarios. In 1998 they held their first solo exhibition at the Emmanuel Perrotin Gallery. In 1999 they were commissioned by the Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art to create an installation. The installation was subsequently shown in Japan and Seoul. Radi Designers were selected as "Creators of the Year 2000" by the Salon du Meuble in Paris, while they also worked on the scenography for an exhibition at the Fashion and Textile Museum. They also dabbled in urban design with the creation of a public fountain featuring two female silhouettes carrying water. In 2001, the Sandra Gering Gallery in New York staged the first solo exhibition of the group in the United States. 26x24cm, perfect condition, signed.--shipping in EU - 25€ worldwide - 45€ SHIPPING with priority express and registered post As a private seller, I will be liable for any damage to your goods that may be caused by faulty packaging.
