Michael Bang was a Danish designer and ceramicist who over the years has created some of Holmegaard's most popular and successful designs, many of which have become collector's items. Michael Bang was the son of Holmegaard's first designer Jacob E. Bang and worked in Bjørn Wiinblad's workshop, Den Kongelige Porcelænsfabrik, and at Ekenäs Glasbruk AB in Sweden before joining Holmegaard Glasværk. (Source Rosendahl.com)
