Chantalle Smeets has been active as a professional artist for 20 years after 4 years of WIK (income support artist law) in Maastricht Netherlands. Together with Martiene Stevens (her partner and also artist), they manage Kunsthuis Trobar Riemst (B). Chantalle Smeets has developed a style all her own, Which is visible in her sculptures of bronze, stone, ceramics and wood. Her source of inspiration is nature. She has exhibited at various galleries and castles (also sculpture gardens) in the Netherlands, Belgium and Spain and her sculptures travel throughout Europe, America and the Canary Islands.
