Lithographic poster of Pierre Alechinsky (Brussels, Oct. 19, 1927), a Belgian painter and graphic artist. Together with Christian Dotremont, Alechinsky was the driving force behind the Belgian branch of the Cobra artists' movement. Offset on parchment/veline paper, approximately 90 by 60 cm, signed in the plate. Work from 1989, the original composition was created by Alechinsky for the Compagnie des Wagons-lits and was auctioned by the renowned Christie's in 2011 for 15000 euros. In good condition, upper left and upper right a barely visible easel ear (see photos). Sent in tube, frame is not included.
