Peko was born in Utrecht in 1956. After an 8-year graphic training in Utrecht, Peko worked as a photographer for the Dutch broadcaster NOS/NOB for 24 years. He has several exhibitions both at home and abroad to his name. Inspired by several well-known Dutch visual artists with whom he is friends, he successfully started painting himself as a self-taught artist. Peko paints in cheerful colors, colorful combination fantasy figures and "with very thick paint lines. Although everything is entirely his own fantasy, one could place the style in which Peko paints in the style of cobra style. Each painting is handmade and therefore a unique piece!
