Painting "Ruhe im Karton" by Isabelle Breitkopf. Work from 2020, acrylic paint on canvas, hand-signed and with certificate of authenticity from the artist. Breitkopf was born Jan. 28, 1990, in Clermont-Ferrand, France, and now lives and works in Mainz. She studied cultural anthropology and business administration there and began painting during her studies. Her art is characterized by her abstract playing with colors in airy, playful compositions, with complex structures and expression. Under her motto "it must pop!" this work is a visual color battle, contradictory with the title "Ruhe im Karton" that just calls for silence. The acrylic paint is processed in multiple layers on the canvas lying on the ground. The work measures 50 cm by 50 cm by 2 cm, the white frame is not included.
