Hand-blown Fazzoletto (Italian for "handkerchief") pendant lamp from the 1970s/80s, produced by the German firm Peill & Putzler.
Peill & Putzler emerged from a merger between Glashüttenwerk Peill und Sohn and Putzler and produced glassware and lighting until its bankruptcy in 2004. In addition to its own lighting designs, often in collaboration with leading designers such as Wilhelm Wagenfeld and Aloys Ferdinand Gangkofner, the company also supplied glassware to manufacturers such as Raak (Netherlands) and Massive (Belgium).
The lamp is in very good condition. Only a few minimal scratches are visible on the brass head, otherwise there are hardly any traces of use.
