Very beautiful and rare pair of palm tree lamps by Maison Jansen dating from the 60s. The base and trunk are in varnished mahogany, with gold-leaf details and gold-leaf accents. The cutting, soldering and torch-finishing of the bronze color nuances on the leaves is superb. The patina of the leaves reveals itself once the lamps are lit, and gives this pair of lamps an added dimension. They have been fully restored and re-electrified, and are in superb condition.
