A beautiful duo of Rococo candlesticks from the turn of the century in silver-plated metal. Following the Baroque movement born in Italy, the Rococo style developed in France, giving rise to numerous decorative and artistic pieces. These candlesticks are a legacy of this style, even if we find it difficult to date them exactly. All in silver-plated metal, they are very well made. Note, however, that they have no base. The previous owner had already used them like this, with an aluminum bottom to prevent the wax from dripping. Vintage object with slight traces of age.
