Product description
Large, original Jielde industrial table or floor lamp in blue from the 1960s. Designed by the renowned French industrial designer Jean Louis Domecq. The lamp is an icon of industrial design, innovative thanks to its system of copper contact discs between each joint. This allows the arms to be added or removed as desired without any wiring problems. Each joint can be rotated to its stop. The lamp can be rotated continuously on its base and the shade can also be rotated continuously. Original condition and fully functional. However, it has been repainted in a typical industrial blue. An old car brake disc serves as the base. It matches the lamp and color perfectly. The lamp was originally screwed to the tabletop. The brake disc can, of course, be unscrewed if desired. Great industrial design in very good vintage condition with a beautiful patina. The lamp has signs of wear from its past and a few paint chips. One original E27 socket for max. 60 watts. This classic lamp is suitable for all living areas and is very decorative. Operates with 110 and 220 V. With the original toggle switch on the shade. Has been rewired due to its age and fitted with a new, nostalgic plug. Plug adapters for many countries can be included free of charge. Just ask.
