This "wall jewel" was created by Dutch painter Franklin van Dam. Franklin studied at the Royal Academy of Art and Design and is best known for his colorful works of great diversity. The acrylic paint used has a colorfastness of at least 100 years. It is painted on an MDF panel prepared with Gesso. In reality there are slight differences in color compared to the images which can be important for the overall picture. It is therefore always possible to make a (convincing) appointment in his atelier provided the sale is actually through Whoppah.
