Product description
Mid-century, vintage, small sideboard, circa 1960’s. Piece is made of wood, with a not very commonly seen, flamed walnut veneer, and lacquered finish, resting on 4 spindle legs (see photos.) The 2 rear legs, have their original brass colored legs tips. Please note: this is how it has been bought, but the legs are removable, and can be swapped if one desires. The sideboard has ample storage capacity featuring the following: - Two (2) clean, fully functional drawers with their original, brass- colored pull knobs, both of which measure at: H: 11 cm x W: 54 cm x D:37 cm. - One (1) storage/bar cabinet, with a pull down door, (also with its original, brass-colored pull knob), that opens and closes properly, and measures at: H: 30 cm x W: 57 cm x D: 37 cm. Piece is in overall good, original and vintage condition, with some old marks, signs of age, and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of age and time, on the overall structure, top (see photos with a 1 cent coin for perspective), edges, panels, drawers, and legs/feet (see multiple photos.) A small repair of veneer on the lower part of the front, left side panel (see photo), some small, old repairs of veneer (not visible when closed) on the inner part of the storage door (see photo.) Light micro- scratches on the front of lower drawer (see photo), a small mark of usage on the front side, of the right panel (see photo.) Piece is solid and stable. It has only been gently cleaned & polished with respect to its original patina of time. All photos have been taken in outdoor, natural light, to show the maximum range of details, so colors may vary or change depending upon on brightness, reflections, angles and perspective in which they are viewed.
