Designer Jiri Evenhuis in 2009 In 2009 Materialise MGX launched some special lighting fixtures made with sterolithography. 3 D fixtures that were built up with nylon in beautiful thin layers beautiful shapes could be realized with this. This fixture is from the first batch and was soon discontinued. each shade was built up piece by piece in the 3 D printer. The shade of the Torus has a beautiful structure soft off-white with an egg shell structure and is delicate. on the thin chrome support. A beautiful unique object with dimmable foot switch and halogen light bulb. Height 1.45. The footplate is ash wood stained black. Purchased by me in 2005.
Wooden base here and there minor damage, foot switch does not work so well anymore, needs to be replaced.
