Nimy's Mastery (1943-1950) is a movement composed of eight artists, including Georges Destrebecq, as well as Fernande Massart, Louis Waem, René Lemaigre, Pierre Monnaie, André Hupet, Irène Zacq and Geneviève Noe. Pioneers in the desire to put ceramics on the rankings of art, and the rise of the unique piece, in response to industrialization. These bowls are unique decorations based on a variation on the same theme in terms of technique and basic form. An examination of the material, shape and pioneering decor of the 1950s. Model with a diameter of 34 cm. Decorations sometimes made by a composition of different scroll friezes of sgraffito (sunken hollow in the mass) and sometimes by enamel applied with a brush. Enamel in earth colors, red tones and gold accents. Ceramics of red clay. Good overall condition, see photos. Very few chips, no losses. Signed on the heel. Height 6 x diameter 34 cm
