modern glass puffins, handmade in a melting technique by Maciej Habrat, a Pole who has been working with glass for over 20 years. Opal glass and 24 carat gold are fused to create these modern shapes. Maciej Habrat Atelier was founded in 1997 in Krosno, Poland. All glassware is designed by him and made by hand in a fusion technique. Maciej graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland - the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass. His style is easily recognized in many galleries around the world and some glass objects were exhibited at the Corning Museum of Glass, USA. TV ARTE has released a documentary about the family business and every year at the Ambiente Fair in Frankfurt, Maciej's masterpieces seduce allure with colors and shapes.
