Rare large heavy brass world time clock by Kienzle Chronoquartz. Designed by Heinrich Johannes Möller. Made in Germany. Kienzle is the oldest clock company in Germany. It was founded in 1822 by Johannes Schlenker in Schwenningen. This model with the original battery drive was built in 1978. On the back it says: For the 50th birthday of your colleagues in the Stuttgart district - March 6, 1978. Was certainly a gift from the Kienzle company for a work colleague. This means that the date of manufacture of this clock is 1978. Complete case, hands and numerals made of brass. Curved glass pane. Great minimalist design in fantastically good vintage condition. Fully functional and runs very precisely. Very good, clean and well-maintained condition without damage to the entire clock. Light patina and signs of wear on the brass case. 100% original condition.
