This particular glass pendant lamp was made by Glashütte Limburg in Germany.
The lamp consists of a mouth-blown bell jar whose surface is formed by 16 columns of 4 "round dents" each. The dents are each framed in a ring of black paint.
The glass is smooth on the inside and slightly textured on the outside.
The bell jar is attached to a yellow copper fixture.
Once the lamp is lit it gives a stunning effect, both on the lamp itself and on the ceiling and wall. This makes this lamp look fantastic in a hallway or in a stairwell.
Even when the lamp is not lit, it is an ornament to the eye.
The glass bell jar is in new condition. The brass fixture shows quite a patina.
The black armed cord has been replaced, as well as the ceiling cap.
