This beautifully authentic Modernist Bauhaus desk and work lamp was designed by Marianne Brandt & Hen Bredendieck and known as “Model 971”. The lamp is produced by Kandem Leuchten.
Estimated period: 1934-1939, Origin: Germany
Color black with nice age patina
Completely authentic lamp. The lamp is in good vintage condition and shows a beautiful patina of the steel and lacquer, as well as signs of wear commensurate with the age of the lamp.
The lamp has a working 'canonball' joint and a cast iron table clamp.
