This particular 'Rocket' floor lamp has made a long journey from the Czech Republic. The futuristic design is inspired by the rocket from the 1950s. At this time, people started exploring space and this inspired designer Josef Hurka. The use of various types of material gives the lamp a playful design. Made of a plastic yellow shade sheathed with white metal racing mesh/grid. The base is a black tripod made of iron. Because of the tripod a quirky & airy design. The floor lamp produces beautiful diffused light. Given its age in a lived vintage condition. The patina given to the lamp by the ravages of time is not bothersome with this design and gives an appropriately vintage look.
