The minimalist frame is airy, yet present enough to give the solid wood top a sturdy, stable look. As such, this dining room table is by no means a lightweight. The frame is a heavy quality black steel that seems to clamp the top in place. On the side, the top runs almost seamlessly into the frame, but in reality the frame is screwed underneath. The top is 4 cm of solid oak which has a warm color because it is smoked and finished with oil. The knots are filled with black epoxy which gives the entire top a smooth surface.
