J. Robert Scott (USA) was the first to come up with this new type of sofa in the 1980s, where part of the back was deliberately left out.
Two reasons:
A, you rarely sit on a couch with 3 people.
B, in some situations it is nice that the bank provides more insight.
This sofa is from the 90's and was in deplorable condition when we bought it. Completely stripped, the interior has been completely rebuilt and upholstered by one of the best upholsterers in the country. So the sofa has not yet been used since it was reupholstered.
