The lamp is part of the IN-EI collection, which means shadow in Japanese. The designer, Issey Miyake, is a well-known fashion designer, who collaborated with a technical engineer and a fabric engineer for this collection. The model is produced from a single piece of recycled material and can be folded completely into a flat package. The Artemide Mendori table lamp LED was designed by Issey Miyake.
