Vintage print, flower cards in wooden gold frames, after an antique botanical drawing by Pierre-Joseph Redouté (1759-1840).
Pierre-Joseph Redouté was a Belgian painter and botanist, best known for his exquisite attention to detail. He became best known for his paintings of flowers in the garden of the Château de Malmaison and was official court artist to Marie Antoinette of Austria.
Beautifully framed maps in dark passe-partout, rectangular wooden gold frames with glass.
In good vintage condition, light signs of use and age on the wooden frames, some discoloration on the prints but nothing disturbing. Check the photos for more details!
