Beautiful glazed ceramic plate or tile with iridescent reflections, original from the mid-century representing the iconic Cenachero, a fish seller with a basket of esparto grass on each arm and who carried the fresh product from the Bay of Malaga, hawking it through the streets of the city. , a profession that has already disappeared. Created by the renowned Hermanos Morillo pottery, it is an outstanding example of traditional Malaga craftsmanship. Its founder in 1941, José Morillo, was the creator, among other beautiful pieces, of the unmistakable Malaga pot, converted into an image of Malaga craftsmanship. The pottery was originally located in Colonia Santa Inés, within the premises of the important and historic Santa Inés ceramics factory, founded in 1879. Hermanos Morillo's ceramic pieces have decorated such emblematic places as Picasso's Birthplace and the Museum of Popular Arts, reflecting its deep roots in Malaga culture. What makes this piece special is its history and quality craftsmanship. Each piece is made by hand, following traditional techniques passed down through generations.
